FAI Club Mark
Verona FC are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the FAI Club Mark One Star award following on from the club's Entry Level Award achievement in May 2019. This accolade makes Verona the first club in Dublin 15 and one of the few clubs in Dublin to attain the illustrious achievement.

Verona undertook the daunting process of examining the criteria required to achieve this standard and their application was submitted to the FAI in October so the club are overjoyed after being subsequently notified of their success.
The status of the FAI Club Mark One Star makes the club a Player Development Centre which signifies that Verona has a FAI recognised player development plan, a FAI recognised coaching structure working alongside a FAI Coaching Mentor, has demonstrated best practice in child welfare and safeguarding and has a high standard in club governance.
This wonderful achievement is testament to the current junior and senior committee members with the majority of the work put together by our academy director Tracy Gleeson whose tireless contribution continues to ensure Verona's impressive progress and further stamps our reputation as one of the best clubs for children to develop in the country.
We can now further serve the local community and be proud of one of the biggest landmarks in the club's history since our formation in 1967.The club would also like to offer a huge token of gratitude to Paul Breen from the FAI who was instrumental throughout the application process along with Colin Clerkin, Vincent Foley and Barry McGann who were at hand to offer the best advice and support from the start.
